This project was submitted in 2018 to the Etablissement Public d’Aménagement Bordeaux Euratlantique.
As part of this call for tenders, the group of promoters and investors REALITES / REDMAN appointed Art’Ur Architects, highly experienced in wood and bioclimatic projects, and the engineering firms Le Sommer Environnement, Terrel Group and Quark Ingénierie.
What should an office building in Bordeaux look like in the 2020s? We have designed the key project for a district of the “Bordeaux Euratlantique” Operation of National Interest.
It follows a necessary guideline for the construction of sustainable urban planning: a large part given to timber construction, a long-term vision of a structuring element of the city, programmatic evolutivity and bioclimatic design.
It is the project of a building that announces one of a street, it is part of the pedestrian crossing of an open island between two new major sites in the South Armagnac district: the Pont de la Palombe and the future park in the heart of the Armagnac district.
